Personality: Criss Cross is no angel, but she isn't stone cold either. She's had a difficult time adjusting to her jockey, and they're just starting to figure each other out. She handles well most of the time, but can be challenging, and lacks focus and determination. It's hard to motivate her, but when she is the results are impressive. She's a bit of a spitfire and very feisty, with an attitude to match. She can be very stand offish, and is completely and totally fearless. Her bravery is unmatched amongst the stock at Blue Cross, sometimes placing her into situations that are laughable. She doesn't have a very competitive drive, but makes up for it with raw talent. She's quite a show stopper as well, with a graceful walk and an elegant appearance. Her stride isn't that long, but she makes up for it by being twice as fast. Her speed is immaculate, as is her endurance, and she isn't very social with the other horses as they make her nervous, often forcing her to the front of the pack from the start, her jockey using the fact that she doesn't want the other horses to catch her to spur her to victory. She's not very prissy and seems to enjoy the mud, much to her grooms dismay, and seems to enjoy the dirt more than a nice bath. She's rather smart, but not to an infuriating point, and can be stubborn but often gives in without much of a fight. She is also helping to build the foundation of Blue Cross Estates, and we hope to race her and see where she goes.
